Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution

Our Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution is very popular with Monitoring Centers, Alarm Companies and their Customers worldwide due to its low price, flexibility and "plug & play" installation. It is installed in a growing number of Alarm Receiving Centers and it can also be used to communicate with Monitoring Centers that do not support it. There are 3 levels of support and operational modes:

Level 1
Full Support. The Monitoring Center has installed our IP Suite of software components and alarm signals are sent from the Linksys device, over the Internet directly to a Virtual Receiver at the Monitoring Center.
Level 2
Partial Support. The Monitoring Center has installed the minimal software required to receive alarm signals from Linksys devices. Signals are sent from the Linksys device, over the Internet to the IP Alarms Data Center and then forwarded on to the Monitoring Center over the Internet into the receiving software provided.
Level 3
No support. There are many valid reasons why a Monitoring Center may not support our solution. To overcome this, signals are sent from the Linksys device, over the Internet to the IP Alarms data center and then forwarded on to the Monitoring Center over traditional landlines using a toll free phone number.

Monitoring Companies

As migration to VoIP gathers pace, the ability to reliably receive alarm signals over the Internet without any call costs for the End User is becoming an essential component of any IP monitoring solution. IP Alarms offer the most versatile, cost effective, professional VoIP compatible solution on the market to help Monitoring Centers accomplish this goal.

The Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution has built-in support for remote Video Verification. It has the ability to record from any number of IP Cameras the instant an alarm panel is activated. See our Verified Response web site for more information.

Alarm Companies

The Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution provides your company with the most powerful tool available to upgrade systems that currently use landlines for communicating with a Central Station.

The solution allows you to be very flexible in the way you approach potential Customers. Some Alarm Companies replace the Linksys stickers with a custom sticker and brand the device as their own. Others, that until now have only been able to provide monitoring service to subscribers in their local area, take full advantage of the nationwide "off the shelf" availability of the Linksys hardware and attract new Customers across the country to use their services on a "Monitoring Only" basis.

End Users

Off the shelf Linksys VoIP adapters like the SPA3102 & PAP2T can be used to reliably send alarm signals over the Internet. The sub US$50 price tag is a very welcome bonus in these very testing times.

Video Verification

Tight integration with the vast majority of IP cameras on the market make our video recording technology by far the most flexible on the market. Our video solutions are aimed squarely at professional Installers and Monitoring Centers who require seamless integration between IP Cameras and existing security equipment or alarm panels. If your Customer wants to sit on a beach and use their mobile phone to mess around with their garden water sprinklers, then there are plenty of Nanny Cam systems available. However, if they would rather go about their daily life, safe in the knowledge that images recorded from their IP cameras will be instantly visible to a trained operator following an alarm activation from a professionally installed security system, then the Virtual Monitoring Platform will be much more to their liking.

IP Alarms are committed to the ongoing development of a range of IP, GSM, GPRS alarm signalling solutions for the security, fire and medical monitoring industries.
