to configure the board via a serial port.

Monitoring Center Considerations when Evaluating IP Solutions
Providing an IP receiver from manufacturer X to receive signals from panels made by manufacturer X is fine, however, you have to give careful consideration as to how you will receive signals from every other make of alarm panel using a diverse range of protocols. This will usually involve the use of a universal IP dialler capture device which can work out to be quite expensive for your Installers and Subscribers. If they consider the upgrade to be too expensive, they may decide to cease monitoring or look for cheaper solutions elsewhere. Neither option is good for business.

The Virtual Monitoring Platform is easily accessible from a computer or web enabled mobile phone at any time to view live images. No special software is required at the Monitoring Centre as everything is handled inside a standard web browser.
